Collection: Adelaide by Samantha Gregory

Monday, June 22, 2026

I have done it! I have finally reach Baby #10 for my doll show line up. I have been diligently working since December 2025 and I am so exhausted but so incredibly proud of myself. I truly hope all of my babies find their forever homes next month and people enjoy my work as much as I have enjoyed creating them.

My first Adelaide, in a dark brown skin tone :)

Adelaide by Samantha Gregory is my last baby for the doll show. Technically, she is #9, with #10 being my contest entry that I must keep a secret! I'll be sure to share her after the contest is over. For now, I am enjoying the finish line with Adelaide. This is my second painting of this sculpt. My first one was a dark-skinned version. This time, I wanted to try a new skin tone and continue practicing on my painted hair. I am so in love with how she turned out! This style of hair painting is something I have been studying from photos of other artist's work. I love the wet, freshly brushed look, which I can only achieve with layering paint stroke, as opposed to the pencil.

She's such a sweetheart. If she doesn't find a new home, I am definitely going to keep her for myself. I love her dainty little hands.

Update 7/28/26 Little miss Adelaide did not find her forever home at the DFW doll show, so for now, she will remain in my personal collection. I am secretly happy about this, because I love her so much and wanted to keep her for myself :P I recently entered her in my first Reborn Artist Alliance contest; I can't wait to see how she made out.

Hi, I'm Tamara

I have been collecting reborn dolls since 2009, falling in love with the tiny details and heartfelt artistry that make each one so special. October 2024 began the start of my journey as a reborn doll artist. I'm happily learning the delicate craft of reborn painting—one layer at a time.
