This past week I have completed one more baby from my inventory list for the doll show! Time is ticking and I can hardly believe there is about three months left until the big debut. I have six dolls done and hoping to paint 2-3 more by then. I want to give myself some time to complete my contest entry baby as well, so I have been diligently working as much as I can.

Today I am showing off this cutie, Miley by Cassie Brace. She is the second Miley I have painted and I must say, I am truly proud of her. I adore her big brown eyes and chubby cheeks! I tried something new with the hair painting. It's definitely a skill that will take practice, but I am up for the challenge and learning experience. I hope someone falls in love with her at the doll show and takes her home, or I will be keeping her for myself! (I've already secretly named her).







Now that Miley is finished, I am deciding on which little one to start working on next. Here's what I have left in my doll kit stash to work with:

  • Hank by AK Kitagawa
  • Sebby by Cassie Brace (partially done!)
  • Willow (Cuddle) by Bonnie Sieben
Time will tell! In the meantime, I stripped Sebby's head (Cassie Brace) and I am back to work on that forgotten project. I had a hard time with him last year, but now that I have better skills I think I ready to tackle him and finally get him done!
